Privacy Policy
Effective October 19, 2026. You are reading this on ArtificialWatch. This policy covers both ArtificialWatch (artificialwatch.com) and FableWatch (fablewatch.com).
1. Who we are
ArtificialWatch and FableWatch are services of Mark Studios, LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“Mark Studios”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact: contact@fablewatch.com · 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, USA. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because the law does not require one for our activities.
2. What we collect
When you sign up for alerts: your email address; which models or labs you want to hear about; which page and form you used and the referring site or campaign tag; your approximate country and city, derived from your IP address at signup (we don't store the IP address itself); and a record of your consent: the wording you saw, its version, the time, and a one-way hash of your IP address.
When you buy a plan: Stripe collects your payment details; we never see your full card number. We keep your Stripe customer ID, the plan, the amount, the dates, the checkout reference, and a record of when you accepted the Terms and the automatic-renewal terms. When you open checkout we also log the plan and a one-way hash of your email.
If you add a phone number (paid plans): the number, whether you verified it, your consent to texts and calls (the wording, time and page), your call and text settings such as quiet hours, delivery status from our SMS provider, and any replies you send (such as STOP or HELP).
If you use the Watchtower: the prompts you save (up to 20), the model you compare against, your report settings, and the answers and scores generated for you.
If you turn on browser push: the push subscription your browser gives us (an address at your browser's push service and its keys).
FableWatch accounts (earlier buyers): your email address for sign-in links, or your name and email from Google if you signed in with Google. If you bought The Swarm, the GitHub connection and Anthropic API key you gave it were held in a database the Services stopped using on 21 July 2026 (see Section 4).
Automatically: our hosting providers log requests (IP address, browser, page, time) for security and debugging; email providers tell us whether a message was delivered or bounced; and ArtificialWatch uses analytics as described in Section 7.
3. Why we use it, and our legal bases (EU/UK)

Signing up for alerts does not sign you up for product news. You can withdraw any consent at any time, without affecting what we did before. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with these service providers, acting for us:

Archive. Until 21 July 2026 some records were held in a Neon Postgres database. The Services no longer use it; it is kept only as an offline archive until its records are reconciled, and then deleted.
Third parties your browser contacts directly. On artificialwatch.com your browser loads live prices from Polymarket's public API, so Polymarket receives your IP address; we send it nothing about you. If we place you in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, the page shows the prices from our last update instead and your browser doesn't contact Polymarket. The listing badges on our pages (Product Hunt and others) are served by us, so those sites learn nothing about you unless you click one.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers, when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or to a successor if the Services are sold or reorganised. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We run no advertising trackers.
5. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers mainly process data there. When we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK Addendum). Contact us for a copy of the relevant safeguards.

Consent. If you visit artificialwatch.com from the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, DataFast loads only after you choose “Allow analytics”. You can change your choice any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. Vercel Web Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics are cookieless and count page views without identifying you.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we don't load DataFast. Browsers' “Do Not Track” setting has no common standard, so we don't respond to it, but we allow no third party to track you across sites for advertising.
8. Your rights and choices
Everyone can ask us to access, correct or delete their personal information, and can stop emails with the unsubscribe link in any email or texts by replying STOP. You can change your alerts, phone settings and Watchtower prompts in your dashboard, and FableWatch account holders can delete their account on the account page. If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland you also have the rights to restrict processing, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time.
YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO OUR USE OF YOUR DATA FOR DIRECT MARKETING. WE WILL STOP.
To make a request, email contact@fablewatch.com. We respond within one month (we may ask you to confirm the request from the address involved). You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO). US residents of states with privacy laws, including California, can make the same requests; we will not discriminate against you for making them. Nevada residents: we do not sell covered information.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards: encryption in transit, signed links instead of passwords, records stored under one-way hashed addresses, access limited to the operator, and signature checks on our payment and messaging webhooks. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.
10. Children
The Services are for adults (18+). They are not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We post any update here with a new effective date. For a material change we also email subscribers or show a notice on the site before it takes effect.
