Meta's Muse gets voice, live avatars and Spaces, runs on models trained with Muse Wonder, and launches in Mexico

Meta shipped four updates to Muse, its personal agent app, on November 5 and 6. Muse now talks, shows a live avatar in the US, builds small apps called Spaces, and runs on specialized models trained with Muse Wonder, Meta's most capable model. Muse also launched in Mexico.

VOICE AND AVATARS (NOVEMBER 5)

• Voice: you talk to your Muse and it talks back, Meta's Muse account says.
• Muse Realtime Avatar, previewed at Meta Connect, is rolling out in the Muse app in the US. Meta describes it as technology that turns Muse Realtime Voice into an expressive, interactive avatar.

MEXICO (NOVEMBER 5)

Muse is now available in Mexico at muse.ai, Meta's Muse account posted.

SPACES (NOVEMBER 6)

You describe a planner, a tracker or a game, and Muse builds it inside the app. Spaces can be pinned to your tabs and stay up to date when you come back, Meta says. Its own examples include a dog's daily schedule and a list of restaurants saved on Instagram.

MODELS TRAINED WITH MUSE WONDER (NOVEMBER 6)

• Muse and Meta AI now run on specialized models trained using Muse Wonder, which shipped on October 12.
• They bring two Muse Wonder abilities: Active Memory, which tells still-relevant earlier information from stale information, and Active Focus, which recovers from setbacks when constraints change.
• Meta's own figures for Muse: a 2.4x reduction in forgetting information critical to your goals, and a 67% improvement in getting unstuck as constraints change.

Which countries get voice and avatars after the US, what the specialized models are called or whether developers can use them, and how they score on independent benchmarks. Meta has not published model names or sizes for them.
