Meta released Muse Spark 1.3 today. Its own words: "We're excited to release Muse Spark 1.3, which delivers improved performance across agentic and coding tasks." The numbers Meta gives are efficiency, not capability: ~20% fewer tool calls and ~25% fewer tokens than 1.2 on coding work, fewer interaction turns, less verbosity. It is live in Muse Code and on the Meta Model API; the open-weights release is described as on the roadmap, with no date.

The price card did not move: meta/muse-spark-1.3 is listed at $1.25 in / $4.25 out per million with a 1,048,576-token context — identical to 1.2, line for line. Same money, fewer tokens per job, which is the actual cut.

This one the radar caught on its own. First sighting 16:49:44 UTC on the router catalog, confirmed on the next sweep and fired at 16:50:45 — 61 seconds — with 14 alerts delivered to the subscribers who watch every launch. It is not a state-of-the-art model, so the SOTA-only list was, correctly, not woken up. The Muse Spark cadence is now 1.1 on July 9, 1.2 on August 5, 1.3 on September 2; the next-revision hunt is armed on 1.4.
