Anthropic's S-1 puts dollar figures on seven of the compute deals behind Claude. The filing's own line for total committed spend is still blank, but the individual agreements are spelled out in its section on infrastructure arrangements.
THE DEALS, AS THE FILING DESCRIBES THEM
Broadcom: five-year equipment leases for TPU-based hardware run in dedicated data centers, with rent of about $161.2 billion over the life of the leases, before interest. Some of that capacity came online in 2026, with more from 2027.
Google: at least about $114.5 billion between April 2026 and July 2033, regardless of how much Anthropic actually uses. On top of that, Anthropic estimates $125 billion to $150 billion for more TPU compute delivered from 2028 to 2031, which is not in its commitments table.
SpaceX's AI unit: up to $120.5 billion with SpaceX.AI LLC, formerly X.AI LLC, for NVIDIA GPU compute over terms running into 2029, about $3.1 billion a month once all capacity is delivered, which Anthropic expects in December 2026. After non-cancelable periods ending in January and March 2027, either side can cancel on 90 days' notice.
Amazon: at least $110.0 billion between May 2026 and April 2036.
Microsoft: at least $44.9 billion between November 2026 and May 2033.
Nscale: up to about $44.6 billion of NVIDIA GPU compute into 2033, paid only as capacity is delivered.
Lambda: about $41.3 billion into 2034, also paid as capacity arrives. $34.9 billion of it can be cancelled if Lambda does not secure the facility lease in time.
AMD: no fixed dollar figure, but more than $20 billion if Anthropic takes the full first tranche of Helios rack-scale systems in 2027.
BY OUR ADDITION
The seven deals with dollar figures add up to about $637 billion. That mixes floors ("at least") with ceilings ("up to"), so read it as a sense of scale, not a number from the filing.
A DELAYED FRONTIER MODEL
In its risk factors, Anthropic says it recently chose to delay pre-training a new frontier base model by more than a month, to strengthen its protections against theft of model weights. It does not name the model.
